About Patagonia Park
Geography
"The Land of Canyons," a display of rocky reliefs with countless viewpoints, extensive plateaus, hidden caves, rock shelters, and streams. A landscape that invites you to explore and discover its secrets.
Flora & Fauna
When you explore Patagonia Park, you can spot guanacos, foxes, condors, rheas, maras, orange chinchillas, pumas, and much more. Regarding flora, stunted vegetation and grasslands stand out. You can see resilient pepper trees, calafate bushes with their characteristic purple berries, and vast coirón grasslands. The biodiversity reveals fascinating adaptations to the harsh conditions of the Patagonian climate.
Culture
Influenced by Mapuche and Tehuelche indigenous communities, the region celebrates its traditions through music, dances such as the knife dance, and various crafts, among which delicate weavings in guanaco wool fiber stand out. The figure of the gaucho, with his free spirit and equestrian skills, is a central element that adds character to the rich Patagonian cultural heritage.
